Get Involved! Join a Chamber Committee
Get involved, demonstrate your leadership, and connect with other businesses and advocates by joining a committee.
We’re always seeking passionate leaders who have expertise that will add to the rich experience of being a Chamber member.
- Ambassador Committee: The external-facing public relations arm of the Chamber assists with membership recruitment and retention and provides appropriate representation at all our Chamber events.
- Marketing and Communications Committee: This committee ensures a consistent and relevant communications strategy for promoting Chamber benefits and programs. The committee evaluates existing programming and develops new, innovative programs to meet member needs and achieve membership growth and retention.
- Economic Development Council: Business retention and recruitment activities for the area are the focus of this committee. Members also keep up to date on development activities in the area. Visit the City of Leawood Economic Development Council to learn more.
- Legislative Task Force: This committee represents city, county, and state legislative and development issues to ensure public policy aligns with advocacy goals for your small business, the city of Leawood, and the region at large.
- Young Professionals: This committee coordinates and executes events for young professionals, ages 21 to 39. We foster an environment where young professionals can network, grow business and industry skills, find opportunities to get involved in their community, and grow their personal list of referral sources.
