A little bit about us, the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program was founded in 1995 by Barnett C. Helzberg, Jr., former owner and president of Helzberg Diamonds. Inspired by his twenty-three-year mentoring relationship with Ewing Kauffman, HEMP matches seasoned, successful entrepreneur Mentors with up-and-coming entrepreneur Mentees. Mentee guidelines include operating as the sole Ultimate Decision Maker of the business for a minimum of three years, the business must have annual revenue between $1 million – $100 million with five or more employees, and Mentees must have a desire to substantially grow the business.

Although the mentoring relationship is HEMP’s primary focus, the program also offers educational programming on topics of interest to the entrepreneur and varied forums for networking opportunities.

We look forward to the possibility of having you as part of our vibrant and supportive HEMP community.
