In 2023, the Leawood Chamber established a strategic partnership with Johnson County Community College’s esteemed CEO Roundtable program, presented by the Kansas Small Business Development Center. As part of this collaboration, the Chamber offered scholarships to three of its members who are small business owners. Building on the success of this initiative, the Chamber is delighted to renew its partnership with Johnson County Community College for the year 2024. We are excited to announce that applications are now open for three full scholarships, exclusively available to small business owners who are active members of the Chamber. We invite interested parties to apply and seize this opportunity for professional development and growth.

“The CEO Roundtable program was exactly what I didn’t know I needed!  The opportunity to share challenges, insights, and applicable advice with peers who are going through similar challenges as small business owners was a unique and invaluable experience.  The mix of business types, sizes, and tenure created a robust environment for ideation.  The best part was how actionable it was – each month, we’d share updates on the changes we made as a result from our last meeting, which was a rewarding experience,” said 2023 scholarship recipient Marissa Vidler (Clearbox Insights).
