The Stellar Image Studios business model calls for finding projects that benefit the community … especially women and minorities. Case in point: SIS recently entered into an agreement with DeLaSalle High School to instruct select students in the basics of video production.
The training took place under the guidance of SHOW (SIS Hands On Workshop), the company’s educational division.
This after-school training initiative was inspired by DeLaSalle’s Block37 Program, providing a “safe space, positive adult role models, and access to activities that promote positive social, emotional, and educational outcomes for students.” Participants are provided transportation, dinner, and an hourly wage.
DeLaSalle is confident this unique program will offer students “a whole new world of opportunity and potential in a dynamic, growing industry.”
And SIS knows that projects that are good for the community … are good for business.
