Five Creative Ways to Save Money on Your Corporate Holiday Party This Year

It's hard to believe, but the holiday season will be here before we know it!

Don’t let a tighter budget stop you from rewarding your hardworking employees with a holiday event. Try some of these basic budget-saving tips from Kelly O'Hagan and the Overland Park Convention Center:

1. Who says holiday parties have to be at night? Having a fun and festive lunch will cut your expenses significantly.

2. Does the party have to be on Saturday? No, the other days of the week are less expensive. Plus, the holiday season is always packed full of activities. Your employees will most likely appreciate a less ‘prime time’ event.

3. Increase your buying power by booking more than one event at a time at the venue you choose.

4. Co-host a holiday event with one of your partners or suppliers.

5. Instead of dishing out for an entire meal, try hosting an evening appetizer celebration.
