Smith said they have received many letters and calls from people who say the Resource Center saved their life or helped them avoid a serious situation. For example, a recent caller stated her daughter had gotten something in her eye. The AAN team was instrumental in helping her to take care of her daughter, preventing permanent blindness.
The AAN nurses taking calls have an average of 28 years of experience. Some of the nurses were even a part of the team in 1986, so their experience is highly valued. Because people call in looking for advice ... (go to www.leawoodchamber.org for more information)
