Attendees MUST BE 21 to ATTEND. This is a rain or shine event and tickets are non-refundable.
All tickets purchased June 3rd - June 11th can be picked up at WILL CALL the evening of Saturday, June 12th.
If you would like your tickets before the event, you may pick them up at the Chamber office, located at 4707 W. 135th Street, Suite 270, Leawood, KS 66224, before 5:00 pm, Friday, June 11th.
After 5:00 pm Friday, June 11th, tickets will no longer be available online. Tickets can still be purchased while supplies last at Leawood Hy-Vee (12200 State Line Road, Leawood, KS 66209). Tickets will also be available the night of the event at WILL CALL.
Since rain is in the forecast for Saturday, we want to remind our guests that the event will still be held (barring severe weather, which could cause a delay in the start time). The Leawood City Hall Courtyard will be extensively tented, and we have access to the Oak Room in the lower level of City Hall to make sure you still have a fabulous time.

On Sunday, June 13, 2010, SAFEHOME will hold its 18th Annual June Jubilee. The theme for this year’s event is “Celebrate! Thirty years of saving lives” in honor of SAFEHOME’s 30th anniversary.
This year’s event will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Overland Park, 10100 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS from 5:30-9:30 p.m. June Jubilee will feature a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and a short program.

The Leawood Arts Council will present “Grinnin’ & Groovin’” entertainment for the entire family each Tuesday morning, June 8th through June 29th. This event series continues with a performance by StoneLion Puppet Theatre on June 15th.
“The Penguin Emperor’s New Clothes” is StoneLion Puppet Theatre’s newest production. Loosely based on Han’s Christian Andersen’s tale, this zany musical production features singing penguins, wise walruses and lots of charm. The Emperor has nothing to wear so a contest is announced. Tailors from all over the frozen land bring him their latest creations along with two shifty polar bears intent of duping the kingdom out of their riches. These wily bears concoct a fantastical tale of a magical cloth that only the very intelligent can see…So of course the Emperor demands they make a fabulous costume out of it for only him. Join us to find out what the Emperor ends up wearing.

Leawood Chamber member Sunlighten was in the spotlight again with an appearance on nationally-syndicated The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, May 28.
