Hosting / sponsoring a Leawood Chamber event is an extremely affordable way for you to get your brand and your staff in front of a great group of prospects / referral partners who are, just like you, interested in mutual business success. Just think how hard it is to get in front of 50-100 people to give a presentation, or to get an appointment for your business development team in front of this many people. MORNING MINGLINGS HOST $350

Morning Mingling events are (almost always) the third Tuesday of the month from 8:00AM-9:30AM. These events are typically held at the host’s business. This gives people the chance to see your location. Some of our hosts have offered tours at the end of the event if there’s more to see! Here are a few key considerations for you as an event host:


BENEFITS

  • The event space must be able to accommodate space and parking for at least 80 people.
  • Will need to provide beverages and food (typically coffee/water/OJ and breakfast foods; granola, fruit, pastries, etc. However, please note: people don’t eat a lot at these events – it’s mainly coffee drinkers).
  • Since this is your event, we will not allow any outside marketing materials or door prizes to be set out or given out at your event. You have the exclusive right to put out any marketing materials you’d like.
  • You’ll need to provide 4 door prizes.
  • Someone on behalf of your company will have the opportunity to give a 2-3 minute speech during the event.
  • The Chamber will promote your event on our social media/Member Memo prior to the event to help boost attendance.
  • All promotional materials sent out by the Chamber will include your company name/logo and a link to your site.
  • The Chamber will collect all reservations and provide staffing and attendee name badges the day of the event.
  • After the event, you will receive a Contact List for all members who attend for follow up marketing efforts.

AFTER HOURS HOST $350

After Hours events are (almost always) the first Wednesday of the month from 4:30PM-6:00PM. These events are typically held at the host’s business. This gives people the chance to see your location. Some of our hosts have offered tours at the end of the event if there’s more to see! Here are a few key considerations for you as an event host:

  • The host provides beverages and food; typically water/soda/beer/wine and hors d’oeuvres.
  • Since this is your event, we will not allow any outside marketing materials or door prizes to be set out or given out at your event. You have the exclusive right to put out any marketing materials you’d like.
  • You’ll need to provide at least 4 door prizes.
  • Someone on behalf of your company will have the opportunity to give a 2-3 minute speech during the event.

CHAMBER LUNCHEON SPONSOR $300

Luncheons are typically the second Tuesday of the month from 11:30AM-1:00PM. Typically our luncheons are at The Ritz Charles. However, if you have an event space, we‘d be glad to chat with you about hosting it there!


BENEFITS

  • A representative from your business will have 2-3 minutes to speak.
  • Your representative can introduce the guest speaker (optional).
  • As the host, you can exclusively put out any marketing materials you’d like, and can place company collateral at each guest’s seat. Since this is your event, we will not allow any outside marketing materials to be set out at the event.
  • Your logo will be displayed on the projector screen from the time guests arrive until the program starts, and after the slideshow/presentation is complete at the end of the evnet.
  • All promotional materials sent out by the Chamber will include your company name a link to your site.
  • You receive two complimentary lunches and seating at the head table.
  • After the event, you will receive a Contact List for all members who attend for follow up marketing efforts.

LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON SPONSOR $725  Sold to Saint Luke’s Health System

January 3, 2018  |  11:15AM – 1:00PM

Here’s an easy and cost-effective way to promote your business in front of the area’s top business professionals and local legislators. Area legislators participate in a panel discussion to key business issues before a crowd of approximately 75-100 business professionals and concerned citizens. You will have the opportunity to give a 3-5 minute speech to welcome guests and promote your business. Your company logo will appear prominently on the event e-vite, which is sent to more than 2,000 members and prospective members, and it will be displayed on the LeawoodChamber.org event page. Your logo will also be displayed on the podium during the event.

OTHER BENEFITS

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AFTER HOURS HOST $250

This event generally occurs on a quarterly basis on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 5:00PM-6:30PM. These events are for our members who are between the ages of 21-39, and are typically held at the host’s business. This gives attendees the chance to see your location. Some of our hosts have offered tours at the end of the event if there’s more to see! Here are a few key considerations for you as an event host:

BENEFITS

  • The event space must be able to accommodate space and parking for at least 60 people.
  • The host provides beverages and food; typically water/soda/beer/wine and hors d’oeuvres.
  • Since this is your event, we will not allow any outside marketing materials or door prizes to be set out or given out at your event. You have the exclusive right to put out any marketing materials you’d like.
  • You’ll need to provide at least 4 door prizes.
  • Someone on behalf of your company will have the opportunity to give a 2-3 minute speech during the event.
  • The Chamber will promote your event on our social media/Member Memo prior to the event to help boost attendance.
  • All promotional materials sent out by the Chamber will include your company name/logo and a link to your site.
  • The Chamber will collect all reservations and provide staffing and attendee name badges the day of the event.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS LUNCH & LEARN SPONSOR $200

Lunch & Learns are typically held the fourth Thursday of the month from 11:30AM-1:00PM. These are education sessions for our members who are between the ages of 21-39. The lunch can be held at the host’s location, a fellow member’s location, or the Chamber Conference Room.  Key considerations as the host are:


BENEFITS

  • The event space must be able to accommodate space and parking for at least 50 people.
  • A caterer is secured by Chamber staff for the lunch.
  • Attendees are charged a fee to attend.
  • Chamber staff secures a presenter to share their expertise in a chosen topical area.
  • As a sponsor, you will have 2-3 minutes to give a speech about your business.
  • The host will receive a Contact List for all members who attended.
  • All promotional materials sent out by the Chamber will include your name and a link to your site.
  • As the host, you can exclusively put out any marketing materials you’d like, and can place company collateral at each guest’s seat. Since this is your event, we will not allow any outside marketing materials to be set out at the event.
  • After the event, you will receive a Contact List for all members who attend for follow up marketing efforts.
